At Peak Physique Studios Loughton, we strive to be the Gold standard for health and fitness from a small boutique studio. Members will be monitored by both a heart rate monitor and an industry leading personal trainer during motivating, fun, small group sessions. Our sessions are designed to combine the attention of personal training with the dynamism of a group class. This ensures you get the most out of your training session.
We take a holistic approach to training, incorporating high intensity interval training and cardiovascular training in addition to strength and resistance training. Our main studio has state of the art equipment including treadmills, rowers, functional resistance and suspension training (KO8 Fitness) and bespoke boxing bags (BoxMaster). The sessions are changed daily and are always varied to ensure you stay motivated. You will love training with us! Our aim is to help you “Reach Your Peak.”
With over 45 sessions per week there is a time to suit everyone, and no excuse not to train!
THE POWER OF EPOC
At Peak Physique Studios we utilise the innovative MYZONE heart rate technology, allowing you to track your efforts in real time during sessions.
Through technology based heart rate monitored sessions we use the science of “post exercise oxygen consumption” (EPOC) to allow our clients and members to become leaner, stronger and achieve their own goals. Sessions are a 60 minute high intensity interval workout which focuses on three elements of training; endurance, strength and power. Through the use of our training and monitoring system (heart rate monitors) female members can burn on average between 400-600 calories per session, while males can burn between 700-1000 calories. After the session, members continue to burn calories for up to 36 hours as a result of EPOC.
